Big Brother

I wasn't always a fan of Big Brother. I actually turned my nose up to it for the first few seasons. What terrible reality show! Then, for some odd reason, I decided to watch a few episodes and became absolutely addicted.

Now I find myself waiting for the it to start every year. This one was no different. Unfortunately, this season is an All Star version with previous house guests coming back for more.

Allison, Mike Boogy(!), Will, and several others are in the house, and I cannot stand any of them. What a bunch of whiners. Will and Booger are much too full of themselves. Ack, I can't stand it. Please kick these two out early.

Allison went on a rage at the end of the first episode. What is with this woman and her hatred for Janie? Did I miss something? Did she do something to Allison while I wasn't looking? Do you really need to go that far off the deep end for going on the chopping block?

Rockstar Supernova

Here we are with another season of Rockstar. Perhaps they should of called it Rockstar Supereago. That's a much more fitting name. I'm actually surprised they could find that many singers willing to front a band filled with washed out "has beens".

What is more pathetic than any of this is that I can't help but watch every second of it. I don't know if it simply because I can't wait to see what sort of insane outfit Brooke is going to wear, or the fact that I've turned this tv show into an awesome drinking game.

It all started last season when I realized how many times an episode that Brooke says a word that starts with "rock". Whether that be "rockstar", "rocker", or "rocking", or whatever. What started as an annoyance quickly shifted to a great drinking game. Yes, you guessed it, everytime she utters a word that begins with "rock", it is time for a drink.

I bet no one can get through an episode without getting drunk!

The Offseason

If tv watching were a sport, this would be the offseason. What I mean by that, the really good shows are repeating and we are being subjected to things such as America's Got Talent, Last Comic Standing, and Big Brother. None of these shows compare to the fall mega shows like Survivor and Lost.

That doesn't seem to matter in this household. I'm still addicted to these incredibly terrible offerings. That is what happens when you are a junkie.

The plan is to write about the shows I'm watching and my off-kilter view of them. Stay tuned for my first piece.

Welcome

Everyone in the world has a blog, so I decided maybe, just maybe I should have one. But, what in the world would I talk about? There's my job. Ahh, no. Boring! Maybe the activities I like to do? Wait a second, what activities?

The only thing I seem to do on a regular basis, besides eating/sleeping/going to work, is watch television. Why not write about it?
